This location surprised me, since I there were far more people here than at Jökulsárlón. I would have expected it in reverse...Anyway, going in behind the waterfall is of course spectacular, so no wonder many people gather here. It was not easy to get a clear view all the way round, but going back a bit helped. I guess i could have cloned away the most people, but since panos of that kind already are made, I will stick to my "edge" by including the masses :-)

Pano made from 28 HF pics (RAW), 50 mm, iso-160, f/7,1, 1/400 sec, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, scaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

No matter who the panoramist is - Skógafoss is and will always be a fascinating motif ... ... and with your 2018 bad-weather-series you have more than successfully fulfilled your "Reifeprüfung" for a Scotland trip. Jan ;-) ... !!!

OMG - I just realised that I confused this waterfall with Seljalandsfoss, regarding the possibility of going behind the waterfall. That is not possible here, but is possible at Seljalandsfoss, just a few miles down the road.

As some have remarked, the weather wasn't that great, but often clear enough to make panoramas - as long as one stayed under the clouds. I will show one or two more from the trip, just in time to depart again for Iceland. So it took up to 4 years to graze through the pictures from there the first time. Let's see how long it will take with the next batch :-)
