Nochmal England 2016, das letzte Bild aus dem Archiv von dieser Reise und eine Verbindung mehrerer bereits gezeigter Motive. Von der Anhöhe mit der Whitby Abbey führt der Weg hinter der Church of St Mary über den Treppenweg der "199 Steps" hinab in die Altstadt und zum Hafen. Am oberen Ende ist am Rand des Friedhofs ein schöner Aussichtpunkt. Der Ort ist wirklich charmant, aber auch dementsprechend für die vielen Besucher erschlossen.

Once more England 2016, the last picture from the archive of this trip and a connection to several already shown motives. From the hill with Whitby Abbey the path behind the Church of St Mary leads down the stairs of the "199 Steps" to the old town and the harbour. The place is really charming, but also accordingly developed for the flood of visitors.
