Zurück nach Torridon. Da sich am Ende dieses nicht nur wettermäßig sehr abwechslungsreichen Tages noch einmal die Sonne und blauer Himmel zeigte, setzte ich mich noch einmal ins Auto und fuhr die 10 Minuten ins Glen Torridon zum Beinn Eighe Wanderparkplatz. Von hier aus waren wir 2010 auf eine grandiose Tour aufgebrochen - dafür waren Ostern nicht die richtigen Bedingungen. Es zog mich aber eine knappe halbe Stunde den Wanderweg bergauf, um die abendliche Stimmung unterhalb der Giganten von Liathach und Beinn Eighe zu geniessen. Bei schwierigem Licht entstanden ein paar Serien - hier der Rundblick von meinem Umkehrpunkt.

Back to Torridon. As the sun and blue skies made a reappearance at the end of what had been a very variable day – not just in terms of the weather – I got back in the car and drove the 10 minutes to Glen Torridon and the Beinn Eighe car park. It was from here that we had set off on a magnificent hike in 2010 – but the conditions at Easter weren’t right for that. Nevertheless, I was drawn up the footpath for just under half an hour to enjoy the evening atmosphere beneath the giants of Liathach and Beinn Eighe. In difficult light, I took a few series of shots – here is the 360-degree view from where I turned around.
