Aufnahmestandort: Kungsbacken (106 m)      Fotografiert von: Jan Lindgaard Rasmussen
Gebiet: Sweden      Datum: 2019-01-05, 11:30
Kungsbacken gives a good view over the surrounding landscape. It is not overwhelmingly high, but somehow the typical mosaic structure of the scanian landscape is well perceived from here. One sees the dominating horsts so typical of Skåne, the intense agricultural use, as well as the quite vast areas of extensive grassland, interspersed with small woods, and a lake.

The always low standing midwinter sun is a major challenge in this latitude, since it for 2 months doesn't get over 10°.

Pano made from 46 pics (RAW), Canon 6D, 70-200mm@98mm, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, periphal illumination, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, contrast, downscaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

Flat landscapes are always a fascination for me. The colors are remarkably strong for winter without snow. The clouds revive the picture. I like the 360° version. Did the bushes not allow a cut in the difficult backlit area?

I´m not sure with the clouds at the beginning, but the right part looks great!

I have withdrawn a bit on the saturation.

@Jörg and Sebastian: I perhaps could have reduced the bright part, but it would have been on the expence of the Baltic Sea, which I wanted to be included. There is a large tree nearby which best is avoided this way with "the Schnitt". Earlier in the day it was raining as you can see, which is why I couldn't do it earlier - it would of course have been the obvious solution.
