I was thinking of posting this panorama just to help solve riddle 34935 and then deleting it, but perhaps it's best to leave it.

The Abbey of Sant'Agata Martire was built on the remains of Roman ruins and was a place of worship and the seat of the Cistercian Order.
The Abbey was a beautiful example of a fortified building with agricultural and monastic purposes. Over the centuries, it became a center of attraction, exerting social and cultural influence on the local population.
But, in August 1567, several Ottoman galleys docked at the mouth of the Fortore River. The Ottoman troops reached the monastery of Sant'Agata, sacking it and then burning it.
The Abbey was rebuilt, but never regained its former fame. It gradually lost its role as a center of agricultural production, and the decline in population meant that religious worship was no longer supported.

Right. Please provide the solution to the other riddle. I posted this one only to make it easier.

Un interessante contrasto tra antiche rovine e moderne turbine eoliche. L'immagine potrebbe essere leggermente sovranitida e si possono notare deboli aloni di luce sulle pareti.

I was hoping that you leave it as I like this one even more than the other view. I also now understand my mistake when I searched for the riddle. Cheers, Martin
