Buon Natale.
I like the Grünhorn appearing behind the Fiescherwand and the Fiescherhörner.
And also the Bieschhorn, already well illuminated by the sun. On the other hand, the snows on top of the Monte Bianco seem to be still in the one-instant-before mood.
Checking the map, I see that roughly one degree of longitude separates the two mountains, that is, the Bietschhorn has an advantage of approx. 4 minutes. But of course one has also to take practical issues into account... did you shoot east-to-west or west-to-east, and how much time separates the two shots?
Cheers, Alberto.
Herzlicher Gruß,
Hans-Jörg
Grüße,
Dieter
In fact I shot from east to west, aiming for the short moment when the sun looks quite a bit above the mountains. Since I was using the tripod and shooting with 2 seconds time delay it took about 6-10 seconds between two shots. The sun appears on shot number 6, which was 40 seconds after the first picture of the series.
Gruß
Lukas
