This panorama from the lovely chapel of San Nicola (Sveti Mikulas) should help understand the previous one. Namely, it shows the Tomozina beach+cape, and at the same time the village of Nerezine, which is the start of the trails to reach all these places.
This was my fourth ascent to the chapel: the first one had taken place 20 years ago, the second and third ones a few days before.
For the first time, I was not alone, since by chance the same target had been chosen by a massive group of boys and girls from Heidelberg.
When the previous evening, ascending, I reached the tail of the party, some of them asked me if the chapel was more or less than 10 minutes far. "Because if it is more we will die for sure". But actually, when the question was posed, we were very short of the 5 minutes sign. As a consequence, nobody died, and everybody seemed to enjoy the sunrise, not to speak of all the business with smartphone photography.

Tanto che mi sono ripromesso già sul posto che, appena arrivato a casa, mi sarei comperato una storia della Serenissima. L'altro ieri mi è arrivato "La repubblica del leone", di Alvise Zorzi. Per adesso ho dato solo una scorsa, ma mi sono gia imbattuto nell'episodio col quale tu avevi commentato il mio N.17710.
Quest'anno la priorità era fare mare, quindi me ne sono stato buono sull'isola di Cherso, ma la memoria va a quando, nel 2003 ad esempio, sempre partendo da Trieste in due settimane ero arrivato ad Atene e a Micene. E ad esempio, prima di scalare il Parnaso, ero passato per Nafpaktos, l'antica Lepanto...
Insomma, mi aspetto che la lettura di questo libro mi dia nuove idee e mi evochi molti ricordi!
