Per esperienza personale posso dirti che il poeta ha forse esagerato, ma non più di tanto. La ginestra sul Vesuvio è onnipresente, non l’unica, ma certamente la specie arborea più diffusa.
Non so però se lui sul Vesuvio c'era stato veramente o parlava per sentito dire...
In ogni caso, una poesia stupenda ed io ci sono andato anche per quello.

An impressive sight. I have a very similar view from May last year. If one extends the view a little bit to the sides, the crowds come into view.
Anyhow -- congratulations to your 900th panorama. All of these have been enriching this site, together with your passion and deep interest into the locations you are showing.

@Martin:I could say the same about you, even though your panorama are technically better.
But we both think that other evaluation factor are more important.
