This panorama was taken from the ferry that goes from Giglio Island to Porto Santo Stefano and shows the north-western part of the Argentario Promontory.
Argentario is a promontory in southern Tuscany, bathed by the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Orbetello Lagoon.

Does the rocky island on the right eventually show no signs of civilization at all ? In other words does the island only host mice ?

Hi. The island on the right is little more than a rock. It is uninhabited, but I don't know if there are mice ;-)

My thoughts were "Isola dei Topi", but now I hesitate ... maybe a complete different area.

The white tower in front of the red building at the left is faro di (punta) L...a? Then the island would be A..a. Great to have you back with these riddles. Cheers, Martin

Yes it was close, but we are not looking at Elba.
The nearby Island of Giglio reminds me of a captain ... How is he doing ?

The captain is currently in prison in Rebibbia (Rome).
Few people have done more damage to Italy than him.
But don't worry about him, he will be out soon ;-)
