I have no idea either, but at first sight these wonderful autumnal vineyards "smell" to me (without research) like Barbera di Monti, rather not like Barolo ... maybe I'll have another look late in the evening again and open one of these bottles as a source of inspiration for the solution :-D ... anyway a wonderful riddle again, Giuseppe !!

Those vineyards are not Barolo or Barbera, but we are very, very close.
From those grapes a well-known sweet sparkling wine is obtained. I don't like sweet wines, but I make an exception for that. Naturally it should be paired with desserts ;-)

;-) ... I completely agree with you about sweet wines, dear Giuseppe! But on a hot summer day outside on the terrace as an aperitif, or as a dessert wine with a Italian tiramisu or panna cotta ... then I'll make an exception - and so that you know what I'm talking about, I quickly jump two floors down into the cellar to my wine climate cabinet for you - look at my "Testplatz", maybe I'll have to change the tasting from dry to "sweet sparkling" this evening for the solution ;-)

Here we are approximately 17 km south-east of Tenuta Carretta.

I take this as resolved, as the area you are indicating looks like what you are presenting, even if I can't identify the extact location. However, even more fascinating than the beautiful autumn vineyards here is the glimpse in Hans-Jörgs cellar...

A big thanks to Martin and you for the flowers to my wine cellar, unfortunately not suitable for a panorama here ;-) ... but the fun with the single shot on my "Testplatz" was worth it, after your help with the sweet wines!

According to your help "17 km south-east of Tenuta Carretta", I did a little research at Thursday evening in the Alba-Mango-Cortemilia triangle ... but really very difficult to solve it, as it all looks so similar!! Thank you for solving the riddle of this beautiful largely unknown region now, Giuseppe!
