SOLVED RIDDLE.
Gerfalco is a village in Tuscany, administratively a frazione of the comune of Montieri, in the area of Colline Metallifere.
It remains out of the usual tourist circuits and few know about it.

Could be North of the Apuan Alps ridge (A) or eventually NE of the line Arezzo/Firenze (B). Searching for a SS/SRnnn which goes up 800m.

According to some, Gerfalco derives from the medieval German ger-Falke, falcon bearer. But I don't know if it's true.
