After the colorful Sunrise, rain resumed, we had breakfast and got ready to depart check out from our Cabin. However, due to its location on the steep and wild slope, we struggled to make telephone connection with a taxi service, but were reluctant to hike up to the hilltop before the weather cleared up a bit.
When we finally managed to get a ride (transportation) we decided to skip Maracas Bay, perhaps Trinidad's most popular beach. Needless to say weather conditions at the beach would have been.... However did asked the driver to make the 10 minute detour and photo and snack halt at the Maracas lookout.
