SOLVED RIDDLE.
Predil for Italians and Austrians, Predel for Slovenes, is a fort located at the Passo Predil (with the same name), that played an important role in the Napoleonic wars. Difficult !! Val di Fiemme, Trentino ?
It is not in Trentino.
A pity I had no time for that corner of the country, when I visited it in 2014.
It is not in Italy, but the border with Italy is only 700 meters away.
