You got the moment with the best light. The structures of the mountainsides are extremly well visible.

Only the aperitif and a few olives are missing ... then it would be "heavenly", Giuseppe ;-) !!!

Cheers, Hans-Jörg

Dear Hans-Jörg, there was no time neither for the olives, nor for the aperitif. I was very late. The goal of the day is the church of San Martino and I was at least two hours late, because I had stopped in too many points on the lake to photograph ;-)
The church of San Martino can only be reached on foot with an uphill walk of about an hour. You can see the church in the pano 21185, so you realize ;-)
The effort has yet to begin...

Beautiful, the date reminded me of a January 2, 10 years ago on Lake Maggiore. The weather was similarly fantastic... :-)

I am now convinced (also by another source) that this is the best season for the lakes. Cheers, Martin

Dear Martin, as always, it depends on what your goal is. If your goal is to make panoramas, winter is the best season, but if your goal is to swim in the lake, maybe summer is better ;-)

I don't like swimming ;-)

It was understood ;-)
I think it is also understood that I don't like swimming either...
