I must admit i have a bit of a soft spot for big traditional american cars, the boat type of cars. I know they are gas guzzlers, the don't go fast, they don't handle great on winding roads, they're not smart in any sense but they are comfortable!

But they're a dying breed because these days when people buy large vehicles they want SUVs and sometimes minivans.

Is it out of nostalgia for that American Dream, that two years ago i bought a then 11 year old car, one of the last traditional large American sedans for my everyday use in Canada?

The car's model is named after the lake shown in this panorama (i.e. its English name), or the main city on the lake.

Where are we?

Unglaublich wie schnell der J.E. geloest hat! Dass es dort Nase heisst, wusste ich beim Fotografieren noch nicht & dass hier auch die Kantonsgrenze hier verlaeuft, habe ich erst jetzt gelernt.

Kein wirklich gutes Wetter damals, um in die Hoehe zu gehen. Der kleine Ausflug & die Fahrt von Luzern nach Brunnen gefiel mir aber trotzdem ausgezeichnet.

Das Pano uebrigens zusammengebastelt 4+8 Porttraitaufnahmen von zwei velleicht 15 Meter versetzten Standorten zusammengebastelt.

The Buick Lucerne would probably not be a good car for this place here... too large and challening to park.

Das sowohl vom Wolkenbild als auch vom Straßenverlauf dynamische Motiv gefällt mir. Vor allem rechts gibt es aber Unschärfen und in der Straße sind zwei kleine Stitchfehler.
