According to Google Maps, there was a ristorante "Rosa dei Venti" very near to the place where I think that you have taken this. Views exceeding 200km. Great pano. Cheers, Martin

The pano was taken exactly from the terrace of the "Rosa dei Venti" restaurant (unfortunately the restaurant has been closed for some years and is still closed).
The most extraordinary thing is that from there Corsica seems very close, but Monte Cinto is 200 km away...

Yesterday I took a quick look at your riddle and my first idea was, that it would be south of Massa ... then Martin was faster again :-) !!!

This reminds me of my holiday in 2014 when I could see this island out of the french alps (a-p.de #25969). But I didn't have such a great evening light. I enjoy presentations like this very much if Corsica can be seen from the continent.
