Matera is located in the Basilicata in Southern Italy. This ancient town has been selected UNESCO World Heritage because of its unique cave structure (Sassi). Most of the houses you see on the panaroma are build into the rock. So you can only see the fronts. Although there was no sun shine on that day I like this picture very much because of the many different earth colours and the nice roofs. You can loose yourself in details while wandering around with your eyes. (6 single shots in landscape format)

Das ist ja putzig, lädt einen in diesem Labyrinth zum virtuellen Versteckspielen ein. Auch muß dies eine mächtige Basilika sein, wenn man solchen Blick hat. Was für eine Schärfe dieses Bild doch hat ! LG Hans-Jürgen

Servus Lutz, da hast du ja meine Anregung promt umgesetzt. Oder war das Zufall? ;-)) Übrigens ist das ein tolles Pano. Wenn ich das meiner Frau zeige dann weiß ich schon wo im nächsten Jahr ein Ausflug hingeht. Wir sind nämlich im Cilento etwa 100 km entfernt von hier. LG Hans
