two more thoughts
1.Fiume Tevere (Tiber),
2.Fiume Volturno near Naples ?

Hallo. The sea is not the Tyrrhenian.
2015/10/21 17:28 , Giuseppe Marzulli
Not tyrrhenian sea but looking SW now irritates me, maybe not even Italy ?

I did not get deep into it but from a first view I would suggest to search in the Italian / Slowenian border region. I think at the right we look over the laguna around Grado.

Yes, we are exactly on the border between Italy and Slovenia.

What a pity - being a bit quicker I could have known this one.

(And Apologies to everyone whose pictures I was not able to pay tribute to during the last weeks. Too many screens in front of me all day...)
