I am well aware, that this is not a fantastic pano; however the subject might be of interest for a few afficionados. Here we see Fair Isle, one of the most remote places on The British Isles. It is almost half way between the Orkneys and the Shetlands, ca 40 km each way. Among birders it is legendary for its ability to attract extreme rarities; it holds the records of most "first for Britain" findings. Read more here:

The pano was done in haste, since my main focus was on the Mainland, and the sight was a bit blurred. I have cropped it almost 1/2, and increased the contrast, so it appears strongly treated perhaps. By accident, a Killer whale appears on the second photo, with the head and back free of the water. It is hard to see here, but quite unmistakable Made from only 2 pics (RAW), 70-200mm @131mm, 1/1000 sec, f/8, iso-200, DPP (cloudy, neutral, moderate sharpness, ALO off), stitched in PTgui, contrast adjusted in GIMP, resize and sharpening in Irfanview.

By the way, I would prefer the name Orca instead of killer whale ;-)
