From Galgebakke (meaning "hill with gallow") there is a wonderful view over the part of Western Sjælland between the cities Kalundborg and Slagelse. This part is a particular open landscape, even for danish standards.

From Kalundborg, only the power plant stands out. Of the landscape, my own favorite spot, Kløveshøj, can be easily identified, a long with some other hills. In the intense rooftop landscape of Slagelse, 3 somewhat larger churches stand out. Sct. Mikkels Kirke (present incarnation build in the 14'th century), Sct. Peders Kirke (oldest parts from the 11'th century), and Vor Frue Kirke (Church of Our Lady, build in 1930, and one of the very few Roman-Catholic churches in Denmark).

Pano made from 27 pics (RAW), 300 mm, 1/800 sec, f/7,1, iso-200, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, moderate sharpness, ALO off), stitched in PTgui pro, minor regulations in GIMP (curves), down-scaled, resize and sharpness in Irfanview.

What a beauty! The Gallow Hills had always the best view :-)

Trotz der vielen Industriebauten zieht eine herrliche Landschaft vorbei. Der Schattenbereich unten hebt sie wirkungsvoll hervor. Alles wieder fein gezeichnet.

@Christoph, you are right. Pano #12275 is made from a hill called "Rakkerbanke", which means "Hill of the criminals" = a gallowhill. LG Jan.
