These are the days in which everybody are talking about there future vacation sites. «I think that I have chosen a truly quiet place». «No, I guess that mine will be still quieter than yours»...
So, listening about all this quietness and peace, my mind has gone, for example, to the Bolivian village of Coqueza, whose central square I show here in the peak business time of late afternoon.
The atmosphere of the present image is the same as in N.9887 and in N.6150. The solitary vehicle in the background, moving on the piste towards the centre of the salar, seems to yield a pointer to infinity in space. And, if he is driving to Uyuni, for sure he will not exit the salar before dark.
If anybody is interested in this place, he can also have a look back to N.6745 that I shot the same day, maybe two hours later. Now, following an old request by Augustin Werner, which at the time I was not able to fulfil, I have corrected its layout. With the current version of Hugin this was fairly easy to achieve.
