Den Blick auf Kavala vom Hafenpier kann ich nur von der Hinreise in Richtung Thassos zeigen - an diesem windigen Tag hatte ich dort eine Stunde Station gemacht, um mich zu orientieren, bevor es mit dem Bus nach Keramoti weiterging. Beim Aufenthalt auf der Rückreise war ich nochmal hier, hab die Serie aber leider durch ein fehlendes Stück verbockt. Gut zu sehen ist die Lage der Altstadt auf einer der Küste vorgelagerten Halbinsel, mit der Burg ganz oben.

I can only show the view of Kavala from the harbour pier on the outward journey towards Thassos – on this windy day, I stopped there for an hour to orient myself before continuing on to Keramoti by bus. I went back here on the return journey, but unfortunately ruined the series by missing a section. The location of the old town on a peninsula off the coast, with the castle at the top, is clearly visible.
