So ein bisschen Sommerloch scheint mir auch hier auf PP eingebrochen zu sein, dann will ich auch ein Strandmotiv beitragen, das aber ohnehin an der Reihe war. Die weitere Wanderung von #34111 über Theologos nach Potos (den Ort zeige ich noch) ging zunehmend flacher durch schöne Wälder, aber ohne weitere Aussichtspunkte. Am nächsten Tag hatte ich mir zur Erkundung des Südens der Insel ein Fahrrad ausgeliehen und liess es etwas gemütlicher angehen. Neben dem Erzengel Michael Kloster (Stolzer Besitzers eines Nagels des Kreuzes Christi) ist die Marmorinsel Aliki hier ein Höhepunkt. Sie war schon in der Antike besiedelt und ausgebeutet (davon später mehr), und zieht heute mit schönen Stränden zahlreiche Besucher an. In der Vorsaison war alles angenehm; hier ein erster Eindruck vom Straßenrand.

The rest of the hike from #34111 via Theologos to Potos (I will show you the place later) became increasingly flat through beautiful forests, but without any further viewpoints. The next day, I rented a bike to explore the south of the island and took it a little easier. In addition to the Archangel Michael Monastery (proud owner of a nail from the Cross of Christ), the marble island of Aliki is a highlight here. It was already settled and exploited in antiquity (more on that later) and today attracts numerous visitors with its beautiful beaches. In the preseason, everything was pleasant; here is a first impression from the roadside.
