Let me repost this panorama, since these mountains are, for me, among the most beautiful. For the Betrachter I do not know.
Surely, for both they are all but easily accessible and/or crowded.
The granites around this valley are so beautiful, and so precious for the few climbers who defy the long and challenging access, that the region is commonly nicknamed "Andine Yosemite".
Do not miss, in the distance, the big volcanoes of the region, namely Yates, Calbuco and the perfect cone of Osorno.
But the highest mountain looms from the Argentinian side:, and is the Tronador, at 3554 m.

Thanks a lot for the repost, although I have not visited this corner I really like these mountains too!

I really appreciate postings and pictures from that landscape - so much wood, spectacular shapes of Mountains, granite... Regards Peter

Yes, these are incredible mountains.
Do not miss, in the distance, Calbuco (the one who erupted on 30-04-2015) and Osorno (the perfect volcano). Together with the Puntiagudo, which here remains hidden, these are the familiar sentinels of the Lagos district, but they are totally unknown from this perspective.
The incredibly cold light of the late afternoon of a late autumn day is perhaps not for the taste of everybody, but I tried to render it as faithfully as possible. It conveys to me an acute sense of indifference. "The divine indifference of Nature", once wrote an Italian poet, Montale. Also consider that, apart for two people who permanently live at the end of the track down in the valley, the nearest people here live on the shores of Reloncaví, Which in turn seems close in the image, but actually lies one and a half day of walk away.

Wonderful - in fact, i discover the Half Dome right of Cerro Arco Iris, but i miss the Nevada Falls ;-) ...

Great scenery - astonishing that it is so little known. Cheers, Martin

But I guess that I found little water. On the web you find far more scenic pictures.
Cheers, Alberto.

Gorgeous view, with a mix of Alps, Rockies and Cascades in my perception.

Pity that panoramio has been shut down hence the high resolution image links no longer work. I wonder where to best put such high res versions.

The version

is 30.000 pixel wide.
Beyond that limit, I do not know how to go...
Cheers, Alberto.
