The Cuillin is a range of rocky mountains located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The true Cuillin is also known as the Black Cuillin to distinguish it from the Red Cuilin. across Glen Sligachan. The Red Cuilin hills are lower.
The highest point of the Cuillin, and of the Isle of Skye, is Sgùrr Alasdair in the Black Cuillin at 992 m.

The Black Cuillin are considered the most spectacular and challenging mountains in Britain.

As should be well known by now, I am a big fan of this area as well. Very typical view of the Cuillin, including the cloud on top of Bruach na Frithe - when we were up there (one of the simplest ascents of the Cuillin), we had no view either, only on the descent. Did you continue to Talisker for a dram? Cheers, Martin

Thank you for your comments and for the integration of labels.
Also I think that the Cuillin are the only mountains in Britain who have an Alpine feel.
@ Martin: I'm not a big drinker of whiskey (I prefer good wine) and I have been to Talisker, but in the bay and not to the distillery.
