Nice place with the lagoon-like colours in the water as destination of a walk. Been there many years ago in October - much less people then. Cheers, Martin

(Christian) Alas, for the little version I was not able to find a convincing sharpening recipe. On the Photoshop side, a Viveza pass seems to deliver a quite sharpening-proof image. On the Gimp side, after a Curves pass things are slightly better, but far from optimal!
(Martin) Cannot imagine the water in October outside the lagoon. In July it was very cold in all the West of Crete. After the cliffs on the left side you could barely resist 40 min inside the water. On the opposite side, I was able to swim to Cape Vouxa (nearly 2h+ 1.30 back) but I had to put a lot of effort in order not to freeze!
South of Phalasarna the water temperature undergoes a sudden change, and in Elafonissi it has already Lybian sea standards.
