Knapp 10 Minuten nach #34596, an der nächsten Haltestelle des Linienboots den Bosporus hinauf. Man verlässt die Stadt, die Plätze am Anleger werden dörflicher, die Bebauung niedriger, gleichzeitig lockerten die Wolken etwas auf. Die erste und älteste Autobahnbrücke über den Bosporus rückt näher- dramatischer Schauplatz des versuchten Miultärputsches vom 15.07.2016, und jetzt zur "Brücke der Märtyrer des 15. Juli" umbenannt. Die nähere Umgebung dominiert die neobarocke Mecidiye Moschee, erbaut 1853-1856.

Just under 10 minutes after #34596, at the next stop of the line boat up the Bosphorus. You leave the city behind, the places at the pier become more village-like, the buildings lower, and at the same time the clouds clear up a little. The first and oldest motorway bridge over the Bosphorus approaches – the dramatic setting of the attempted military coup on 15 July 2016, now renamed the ‘Bridge of the Martyrs of 15 July’. The surrounding area is dominated by the neo-baroque Mecidiye Mosque, built between 1853 and 1856.
