Sarebbe bello che esistesse un punto panoramico, qui ad est, da cui vedere tutto il "golfo" della Val Padana. Sono sicuro che tu ci riusciresti. Ma è solo una suggestione accademica: non ci sono alture simili all'altezza di Mantova, per dire, anche se ricordo che hai pubblicato alcuni scatti presi da punti più a nord (forse dalle parti di Bergamo?). Guardando GoogleMaps è evidente che il tuo punto panoramico è il migliore possibile. L'ultima coppia di foto è stupefacente.

Thanks for the comments. These views aren't random, but I went looking for them when visibility wasn't good, planning to return when it was excellent.
To get a broader view, you need to climb the mountains of the Ligurian Apennines. I think Monte Penice and Monte Lesima are the most suitable.
But the main problem is that there are few days with excellent visibility.

Nel frattempo, il 31 ottobre, il solito Valerio Minato ha fotografato il Monviso, contornato dal disco del sole che tramonta, dal Monte Pastello, nei Lessini, praticamente sopra Rivoli Veronese. So che anche tu avevi in mente questa impresa. Se fai una ricerca in rete di sicuro trovi qualcosa. Oggi mi esce solo il post su Facebook, però l'altro giorno c'era anche un articolo su un qualche giornale.
Nei giorni scorsi sono girate foto notevoli anche dal Bric Costa Rossa, che secondo me è il belvedere piú strepitoso sul Cuneese, grazie alla sua posizione eccentrica. In una di queste foto si distinguevano le attrezzature del porto di Genova, che spuntava dietro l'arco del primo Appennino.
Quanto ad arco alpino, dal Costa Rossa Udeuschle dà visibile il Carega, a 322 km di distanza.

Quelle da Bocca di Selva le ricordavo (anche perché scattate il giorno del mio compleanno), ma mi pareva che anche tu volessi avere il sole esattamente dietro la montagna. Forse mi confondevo appunto con i propositi annunciati tempo addietro da Minato.

HJBäu: now I automated the process of solving Giuseppe's riddles. Wanting to test how the program works north of the Alps, as a benchmark I used your N.24870. Relying on Tödi, Titlis, Finsteraarhorn, Doldenhorn, Grand Combin and Monte Bianco I got the answer 47.886 7.104, which at least seems to be on the right mountain.
Seeing then that this Aufnahmestandort is only 108 km away from Alpirsbach, let me put it in the todo list...
