We are in Anghiari, a small Tuscan town, little known, but very beautiful in its medieval part (which is not seen in the panorama).
In 1440, a battle was fought in this plain that had important consequences for the Italian balance of power.
But the battle is known above all for another reason, for the so-called lost painting by Leonardo. Its history is very interesting.

Comments

A 15th century battle took place on that plain.
The battle also has a strange connection with Leonardo.

Much more of a challenge than the last riddle. Cheers, Martin
