Von diesem schönen Tag zeige ich noch ein oder zwei weitere Motive - so sonnig, klar und trocken sollte es nämlich nicht die ganzen beiden Wochen meines Urlaubs bleiben. Von Paestum ist es eine kurze Fahrt ins Dorf Giungano. Etwas unterhalb des Parkplatzes am Ortseingang (Parken ist hier überall etwas, was Vorbereitung erfordert...) geht ein markierter Wanderweg bergauf ins auf der Kuppe gelegene Trentinara. Die Sicht auf den Monte Sottano, die Küste bei Paestum und in der Ferne die Amalfi-Küste weitet sich. Von oben kommen schrille Schreie - hier kaum erkennbar zieht sich "Cilento in Volo" über die Schlucht (https://www.cilentoinvolo.info/), eine Zipline, an die man sich bei einem zu langweiligen Leben am Gurt einhängen lassen und frei über die Landschaft rasen kann. Die wurde fleissig genutzt, oben im Ort war auch einiger Betrieb, nur wandern war sonst niemand.

I'll show you one or two more pictures from this beautiful day - it wasn't going to stay this sunny, clear and dry for the whole two weeks of my holiday. It's a short drive from Paestum to the village of Giungano. Just below the car park at the entrance to the village (parking is something that requires preparation everywhere here...), a marked hiking trail leads uphill to Trentinara on the hilltop. The view of Monte Sottano, the coast near Paestum and the Amalfi Coast in the distance widens. There are shrill cries from above - barely recognisable here, "Cilento in Volo" stretches across the gorge (https://www.cilentoinvolo.info/), a zipline to which you can attach your harness if your life is too boring and race freely across the landscape. It was very popular, there was also a lot of activity up in the village, but nobody else was hiking.
