Nicht jedes Städtepano ergibt einen langen Streifen. Zwischen Pano #32350 und dem dort schon diskutierten Abendessen kam ich nochmal am Platz vor der Kathedrale von León vorbei - nach der Beschreibung dort die südlichste der (im Stil) französischen gotischen Kathedralen. Mehr auf https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathedrale_von_Le%C3%B3n . Die Stadt lohnt auf jeden Fall eine Besichtigung. Auch der Jakobsweg führt hindurch. Nachdem ich jetzt dort war, fehlt mir aber jedes Verständnis, warum die Pilgermassen durch die öde, verbaute, flache Hochebene nach Santiago wandern, und nicht durch das landschaftlich superspannende Gebirge 30-50km nördlich. Vermutlich haben sie es eilig.

Not every city pano results in a long strip. Between Pano #32350 and the dinner already discussed there, I passed the square in front of the cathedral of León again - according to the description there, the southernmost of the (in style) French Gothic cathedrals. More at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le%C3%B3n_Cathedral . The city is definitely worth a visit. The Way of St. James / Camino de Santiago also passes through. After having been there, I have no idea why the masses of pilgrims walk through the barren, built-up, flat plateau to Santiago, and not through the super-exciting mountains 30-50km to the north. Presumably they are in a hurry.
