A main reason for our family's visit to Trinidad was a family reunion, long overdue after many years. I hadn't previously visited Trinidad and couldn't contribute much in terms of planning, apart from saying I would be happy to go to mountainous Paramin.

It was only once we were there that I realized it was rainy season, which was ok for visiting family, but not the best for outdoor exploration, especially in the 'mountains' like Paramin, which gets more rain than the lowlands.

With sunrise & sunset usually very short in these tropical latitudes & light & rain seemingly changing by the minute, I didn't venture past the front door of the aptly named bridge cabin.

I thought... the colours might justify posting this even if otherwise, it's short...
