Here I was at my third attempt to shoot this photo. The first time, on March 05, I had been higher up on the same ridge, the closest facing Santa Brigida, only to realize that it was impossibile to have a clear sight without cutting some wood.
Thus, on March 11 (this illumination is being realized only during week-ends) I returned with a hacksaw, but heading to a less challenging spot, which however turned out to be a bit too far.
So, the third time I returned with the hacksaw to the ridge of Zaccon, and I think that this is the best that can be achieved without a drone.
The panorama consists of 10 images in two rows at 360 mm, the appended Einzelbild is a crop from a shot at 600 mm.
Incidentally, Santa Brigida was the first church where I played the organ, when I was 17. At the time the little church still "had its own monk", who lived in the nearby house, now hosting a museum of musical instruments. (Surprisingly, it also hosts a little theater, which is an authentic jewel)
Besides caring a lot about music, he was also a man with very clear views, one of which being "I do not want to have women shouting in my church, that's why I keep only a male choir".
Nowadays, for a sort of nemesis, in Santa Brigida sings a choir consisting only of... female voices. These girls are also the promoters of the illumination that you see here.
