There are panoramas that arise by chance. I was returning to Castelnuovo Berardenga (about 15 km east of Siena) when I saw this panorama along the road. When I took the photos I didn't realize that Siena and the Torre del Mangia could be seen in the distance.

Es braucht nicht immer die Alpen, um eine schöne Dämmerung in Szene zu setzen.

I think the road is called "Strada Comunale della Pietraia" (which translated means "municipal road of the stony groung"), but I'm not sure.
I had lost my way back to where I was staying :-).
