Location: Amphu Lapcha Base Camp (5530 m)      by: Pedrotti Alberto
Area: Nepal      Date: 18-04-2019
At the Amphu Lapcha Base Camp I had pointed the alarm at one a.m. in order to go out and take some moonlight photo.
Probably the man in a nearby tent (who, I guess, was not sleeping that well), seeing a strange light dancing outside at a strange hour, came out to check what was happening. Enchanted by the view (I guess), he stood for a half minute in admiration but, well before the shutter of the leftmost shot closed, he returned inside (I guess that he was feeling cold).
Hence the curious phantom that you see here.

This is really weird. For me, the phantom is topped by the spectacular light and landscape. Regards Peter

Wonderful enchanting panorama !

For his size not a Yeti :-)
Apropos Yeti:
Said one Yeti to the other. "Listen, I think I'd seen Messner".

Hast die Nacht zum Tag gemacht. Tolles Licht, prima aufbereitet.

I'm not sure to believe what the Yeti declared.
Namely, Messner has now to attend his third wife, 35 years younger, from Luxembourg...
You know, "Italian" climbers are always top in every respect!!

I'ts just art for me. The brightness much far away from the reality.

Nice, maybe you can add the technical details (e.g. exposure time).

Now added.

Exceptional effect you got there. It more or less steals the show :-) BR Jan.

Phant-astic. Most impressive the colours revealed. Cheers, Martin
