SOLVED RIDDLE.

We are in an area that I like much, but very little known by tourists (who flock to the sea, but ignore the hinterland). In this pano nothing spectacular is seen, but the autumn colors are special and the landscape is typical of this area.

Without any research, I have no idea at the moment ... but the first view leads me to think about the Apuan Alps ...

A very nice picture indeed. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to search today. Surely somewhere in the Appenines, but they are long. I don't think it is the Apuane, because they are higher and not with forest to the top. Cheers, Martin

My first thought was that it is not even on Italian mainland but maybe Corse or Alps Marittime. Second thought Sardegna. Third ... ?

Yes. If we consider that the Apennines start from the Bocchetta di Altare (Colle di Cadibona), the research area is not very large.

Mi pare duro da risolvere con soli strumenti automatici...
Sei sotto Baiardo, sulla strada da/per Apricale in Val Nervia. Sulla chiesetta isolata, la carta online dice San Michele, ma potrebbe essere piú affidabile la carta cartacea IGC al 50mila, che dice San Martino.
