Fur coast with its white church and view over the Limfjord towards Entebølle on the horizon.
Fur is an island in the Limfjord in northern Jutland, a paradise for sailors. The island is quite small, only 22 km² and about 1500 people live there. Fur can be reached in a few minutes by ferry from Branden. The island belongs to the municipality of Skive. On the north side of the island you will find impressive high and steep cliffs.

On Fur you can find fossils of fish and other aquatic animals from the Eocene (part of the Paleogene period). It also contains plant remains and insects. Among the most famous finds are large fish and a sea turtle. A rock called the moler is found, which is only known from the western part of the Limfjord, especially from the island of Fur. This moler (pronounced molèu) contains many very well preserved fossils.

Nice motif and good composition. At 40 ° there seems to be some stitching blurring. The color gradient in the sky could be softer.
