After Taormina, which lies in the Valdemone, rear to Capo Peloro, and Trapani, which lies in the Val di Mazara, very close to Capo Lilibeo, let us have also a representative of the third region of Sicilia - the island once called Trinacria, "land with three vertices": a triangle in other words. Here we are in the Val di Noto, the land of the Baroque, close to Capo Pachino, southernmost vertex of the triangle.
(I could show the very vertex, but the Stimmung was too similar to that of my last panorama, so let me wait a little bit)
Scicli is the town where most of the Commissario Montalbano series has been filmed. Just take the road in the second road from left in the panorama, and you will reach the town hall of Scicli, which is the Commissariato di Vigata (which is, the police office) of the TV series.
With a single ticket you can visit all the Montalbano places in Scicli, but I will show several others also elsewhere throughout the province of Ragusa.

Let me explain a little. The "Commissario Montalbano" in Italy is very famous. Nowadays it is certainly the most famous Italian literary policeman. But is it known outside Italy?
I do not know.
In any case, I'm delighted to see where many scenes were filmed.

LG Alberto.
