Still I have a lot of frames from København in my digital archive.

Here I present to you a view over Slotsholmen, the historical political center of Denmark. I learned from different sources, that this island is present "since ever", meaning since the onset of historical records. The first castle was erected in the 12th century by Absalon, Bishop of Roskilde. Since then the island hosts the political center of Denmark. I am sure Jan will tell us more about this. I will stop at this point, since I do not want to re-iterate Wikipedia entries.

Regarding the pano itself:

- It is hard to find a good spot to take a frame of the Børse due to Børsbroen and Holmens Kirke. Hence I decided for this particular spot for the overview.
- Yes I know, at least one car is there several times ;-)

VG Martin

I am not that well known in Copenhagen, but at least I know, as you point out, that this is the political center of CPH. The whole area is a really nice place to wander round in, but I wouldn't know where to start doing panos, so I am glad you started :-) The contrast of the area is considerable; just behind all the government buildings the selfproclaimed freetown of Christiania provides a lush green haven for music, drugdealers, and crazy entrepreneaurs. Read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freetown_Christiania
