Location: Jabal Musa (2285 m)      by: Konrad Sus
Area: Egypt      Date: 27.01.2020
Mount Sinai, also known as Jabal Musa - in translation: Mount Moses. A mountain that is a possible location of the biblical Mount Sinai. According to Jewish, Christian, and Islamic tradition, the biblical Mount Sinai was the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. The summit has a mosque that is still used by Muslims, and a Greek Orthodox chapel, constructed in 1934 on the ruins of a 16th-century church. Ascent to the summit is possible by two paths - quicker, but harder - 2 hours or longer and easier - 3 hours - camel`s path.

Memories ;-) Great view of Jebel Katrina. Do you also have a view to the North? I remember some impressive rounded mountain shapes in that direction. Cheers, Martin

Re:
Second part of panorama yet to come. As You know, it`s impossible to do 360 degrees panorama because of wide summit and buildings. I'd have to climb the roof of one chapel.
