Dear Hans-Jörg, on this excursion no olives, no aperitif and no wine ;-)
As you can guess from the shadows, it was getting dark quickly and I had to go back to the car very speedily....

In earlier years we always had a good drop of wine in our "Rucksack" for the descent ... the descent was shorter then - mostly :-)) !!!

Beautiful. Everytime I see this perspective I am impressed by the memory that the parking for the ascent to Legnone is on the saddle right of Legnoncino and can't imagine how our family car got up there. Cheers, Martin

@ Martin: I seem to have understood that it was more difficult for you to get to the parking than to reach the top of the Legnone ;-)
However it is really true. The road to the parking lot is narrow and difficult. I don't know when you went to Legnone, but in the last few years it has improved a little (not too much...)
