A winter scene is a rare thing in our region. Last year we had only 2 days with snow in Terneuzen and the time to enjoy was short because the white cover disappeared already after a few hours.

Canon Eos M6 with EF-M 18-150mm, 11 p RAW, 26 mm (41.6 mm KB), iso 100, f 9, 1/200 s, PTguiPro 19936x3950 316.7MB TIFF, downsized 2524x500 775 KB JPEG

In Italy it is commonly believed that Netherlands in winter is covered in snow ;-)
But I knew that is not so.

More snow than in the Black Forest at the moment - a pity that you don't have a ski lift ;-) !!! Great continuation of the seasons and the course of a day in Terneuzen ...

Cheers, Hans-Jörg

Es war sicher richtig, die genaue Uhrzeit zu vermerken. Der Zauber wird wahrscheinlich nur von kurzer Dauer gewesen sein.

@ Giuseppe, the northern provinces of the Netherlands like Groningen and Friesland are markedly colder than Zeeland, where I live, and sometimes allow the so-called Eleven Cities skate Tour. But because though winters are more and more a thing of the past, so is this race. Of course in Zeeland we also enjoy a milder climate due to nearby North Sea and the Scheldt estuary with heavy currents.
@Hans-Jörg, the scene is from early last year, this winter we haven't seen any snow yet. And yes we can ski in Terneuzen, there is a covered ski slope (see legend).
