A short break from my current series from East Frisia.

I discovered at the weekend, that Giuseppe celebrated his 10th anniversary on p-p at the end of October ... I would like to dedicate this riddle to him ;-) - perhaps he, or someone else can solve the location !?

The first letter of the family that ruled here is a "M"

VG Martin

I don't have a good visual memory, but if it's F........, I've been there three days ago ;-)
If you have been there these days, I would have known you gladly.

@ Giuseppe
Absolutely right - it's the Castello di F........ ! It's a pity that the tower was closed on the day of my visit - the panorama was taken in 2017 and I also couldn't find a Nikon-D-800 photographer from Bergamo on this day, unfortunately ;-) !!!
