I was able to recover the information now: Adam Bielecki e Felix Berg were the two mountaineers who retreated from the NW face of Annapurna. Let us say that the Berg was not Felix for them this time... or maybe it was, since they wise enough to give up on the eight-thousander characterized by the highest fatality rate (30%).
For the poor people like me, acting 3000 m lower, life is indeed easier, but also here, in extreme cases, there may be problems, like in 2014, where a heavy snowstorm resulted in the death of several trekkers on the Thorung La, 5420 m:
