Lake Skadar lies on the border of Albania and Montenegro, and is the largest lake in Southern Europe. The lake’s water level also varies seasonally from 4.7 to 9.8 m above sea level. It`s a nature reserve and a ramsar site. From this lake is only about 10 km to Adriatic Sea.

The NW end of the lake, between Virpazar and Rijeka Crnojevica, is one of the most amazing places that I have ever seen.
