SOLVED RIDDLE.

The Rocca di Pietracassia is a ruined medieval castle located in the municipality of Lajatico, in the province of Pisa.

The fortified complex is divided into two distinct structures: the castle, that is the highest and oldest nucleus, and the fortress, a wall of a later period, built along the ridge and the terraces of the hill, which surrounds the castle.

It is a place of great charm, little known even in Tuscany and which allows a very beautiful view of central-western Tuscany.

Reaching the Rocca di Pietracassia is not easy. If you have an SUV you can get about 2.5 km from the Rocca and then continue along a path. If you do not have an SUV you need to walk a longer distance of about 6-7 km, mostly in the middle of a dense forest.

I think it takes quite a willpower to hike up to R d P-C ...

Christoph :-)

To late, but as a complement: 532 meters of altitude - the name P-C means a split stone.

This time I must agree with Christoph :-)
Reaching the Rocca di Pietracassia is not impossible, but requires willpower, in all seasons, but especially with the heat of these days.
