Girne (or Kyrenia) is a town on the north coast of the island of Cyprus, in the TRNC / KKTC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus / Kuzey Kibris Türk Cumhuriyetii). Not the most exciting town on the island, but it has its own charm especially near the sea and around the castle.
