SOLVED RIDDLE.

The Tower that you see in the distance, identify Elea, named in Roman times Velia, an ancient polis of Magna Graecia.
In Greek times it was famous because it was home to an important philosophical school, the Eleatic, a pre-Socratic school of philosophy founded by Parmenides in the early fifth century BC.
The tower that you see is everywhere the remain of a Norman castle, built on the ruins of a Greek temple.

Searching the coastlines and lakes of Italy with Giuseppe's riddles is always great fun. This time, I have not yet been successful. Cheers, Martin

This is not easy, but it is not impossible. You can exclude lakes.
