Majella (or Maiella) is a massif in the Central Apennines, in Abruzzo.
The highest peak is Monte Amaro at 2793 meters (not visible from this direction). It is the second highest of the entire Apennine range, after only Gran Sasso.
In this pano, the Majella is seen from the east, then we will see it from other directions.

Sospetto poi fortemente che, sempre nel mio notturno, quella rocca superilluminata quasi in direzione dei due paesi del Gargano sia la tua Roccascalegna. Magari sei tu piú indicato per confermare o smentire...
Grande questa visione d'insieme della Maiella!
Anche se per averla dentro tutta, compreso il Monte Porrara (che comunque si indovina sulla sinistra), secondo me servirebbe trovare qualche collina ancora piú verso il mare.
