When the setting sun touched Vlissingen, all of the sudden, the river colored copper.

This is a 240 mm KB tele view in the direction of the mouth of the river Scheldt at a distance of about 22 km. It is low, low tide (spring tide, currently at about -1.8 m NAP) and the gentle reflections on the water surface contrast very well with the plates seen as dark stripes. It shows one can see very little of North Sea - a bit just left of Vlissingen - from Terneuzen at dike level because the 'Hooge Platen' the biggest (18 km2 at low tide) and highest plate (up to 6.9 m NAP) of the estuarium is inbetween. However at high tide, the water level is about 4.5 to 5.5 m higher inundating much of the plate. In this case, a bigger part of the horizon will correspond with the North Sea.

Canon Eos M6 with EF-M 18-150 mm, 9 p RAW, 150 mm (240 mm KB), iso 250, f 9, 1/80 s, PTGuiPro, 28368x3814 436.2 MB TIFF, crop to 3746, downsizing>1900>1000>500 TIFF>sharpening>3787x500 590 KB JPEG

To stitch the pano, I had to use several artificial match points.

Wunderbar monochrome Farbkomposition. Erschreckend die Abgasfahnen der Schiffe.
